{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,11,1]],"date-time":"2025-11-01T05:11:01Z","timestamp":1761973861466,"version":"build-2065373602"},"reference-count":34,"publisher":"FapUNIFESP (SciELO)","issue":"1","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":["Rev. bras. educ. med."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2013,3]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Os autores realizaram estudo de corte transversal para avaliar a compet\u00eancia de ju\u00edzo moral, com a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o do Moral Judgment Test (MJT) proposto por Lind, entre estudantes do primeiro e do oitavo semestre de uma escola m\u00e9dica na Regi\u00e3o Nordeste do Brasil. Compararam-se as turmas do primeiro e do oitavo semestre com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao escore C e avaliou-se a influ\u00eancia de fatores como idade e sexo sobre a compet\u00eancia moral. Uma diferen\u00e7a igual ou superior a 5,0 pontos (absolute effect-size) entre os valores do escore C foi considerada significante. Observou-se regress\u00e3o da compet\u00eancia de ju\u00edzo moral entre os alunos do oitavo semestre com rela\u00e7\u00e3o aos do primeiro semestre (escore C 20,5 x 26,2 pontos, respectivamente). Na an\u00e1lise do desempenho dos alunos por dilemas do MJT, observou-se o fen\u00f4meno da \"segmenta\u00e7\u00e3o moral\" em ambas as turmas, com melhor desempenho dos alunos no dilema do oper\u00e1rio com rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao dilema do m\u00e9dico. Entre alunos do mesmo semestre, aqueles com idade mais avan\u00e7ada apresentaram n\u00edveis mais baixos de escore C quando comparados aos alunos mais jovens. N\u00e3o houve diferen\u00e7a significante entre homens e mulheres com rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 compet\u00eancia de ju\u00edzo moral. A constata\u00e7\u00e3o de que ocorre estagna\u00e7\u00e3o ou regress\u00e3o da compet\u00eancia de ju\u00edzo moral no transcurso da gradua\u00e7\u00e3o m\u00e9dica deve ser motivo de preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o para os professores e para os respons\u00e1veis pelo planejamento curricular, no sentido de buscar estrat\u00e9gias para reverter o
