Zootec."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2002,4]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Este estudo foi realizado com o objectivo de testar o efeito de uma dieta suplementada com cloreto de s\u00f3dio no crescimento de til\u00e1pia Oreochromis niloticus cultivada em \u00e1gua doce e em \u00e1gua salobra a 10 e 20\u2030. Foi fornecida uma dieta suplementada com 8% de NaCl durante o per\u00edodo de aclimata\u00e7\u00e3o de tr\u00eas semanas. Ap\u00f3s esse per\u00edodo, os peixes foram diretamente transferidos para tanques com \u00e1gua doce e \u00e1gua salobra a 10 e 20\u2030, para o estudo do crescimento de 180 dias. A suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o com NaCl aumentou o crescimento dos peixes cultivados em \u00e1gua doce nos primeiros 30 dias (P&lt;0,05), mas n\u00e3o se observaram diferen\u00e7as significativas entre os outros grupos. No final do ensaio, os peixes cultivados em \u00e1gua salobra a 10\u2030 apresentaram os melhores resultados de crescimento (P&lt;0,05).
