Sa\u00fade P\u00fablica"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2010,5]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>A sa\u00fade sexual e reprodutiva representa uma das principais preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es da Sa\u00fade P\u00fablica, pois afeta a sa\u00fade e o bem-estar dos indiv\u00edduos e compromete o n\u00edvel social e econ\u00f4mico das sociedades. Muitos problemas relacionados \u00e0 sa\u00fade sexual e reprodutiva s\u00e3o acentuados em grupos socialmente desfavorecidos, como os imigrantes. Esta investiga\u00e7\u00e3o aprofunda o conhecimento de alguns aspectos sobre a sa\u00fade sexual e reprodutiva de imigrantes brasileiras e africanas em Portugal, particularmente em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao uso de m\u00e9todos contraceptivos, infec\u00e7\u00f5es sexualmente transmiss\u00edveis e uso do preservativo. A coleta de dados se deu a partir da realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de grupos focais com mulheres imigrantes, em idade f\u00e9rtil, residentes em Portugal e provenientes do Brasil ou de Pa\u00edses Africanos de L\u00edngua Oficial Portuguesa. Os resultados permitem compreender as percep\u00e7\u00f5es e conhecimentos das participantes em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s tem\u00e1ticas abordadas e determinar os aspectos a serem levados em conta para melhor atender suas necessidades de sa\u00fade sexual e
