Por\u00e9m, aplicando \u00e0s sequ\u00eancias Obstruinte+Lateral alguns dos crit\u00e9rios que levam \u00e0 classifica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 parte das sequ\u00eancias heterossil\u00e1bicas - origem hist\u00f3rica e certas manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es externas do conhecimento fonol\u00f3gico (CF) dos falantes -, verificamos que as sequ\u00eancias Obstruinte+Lateral se comportam frequentemente como as sequ\u00eancias heterossil\u00e1bicas, sobretudo quando, no tocante \u00e0s manifesta\u00e7\u00f5es do CF, se olha a dados obtidos com sujeitos sem conhecimento ortogr\u00e1fico.
