Soc."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2010,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Este trabalho foi realizado com 689 professores portugueses, a leccionarem nos terceiro ciclo e ensino secund\u00e1rio. Foram avaliados indicadores de stress, \"burnout\", sa\u00fade f\u00edsica e satisfa\u00e7\u00e3o profissional. Observaram-se valores significativos de stress ocupacional (perto de 40%), e de \"burnout\" (10% na exaust\u00e3o emocional, 3% na baixa realiza\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal e 1% na despersonaliza\u00e7\u00e3o), v\u00e1rios problemas de sa\u00fade f\u00edsica e valores de insatisfa\u00e7\u00e3o profissional perto dos 20%. As an\u00e1lises de regress\u00e3o m\u00faltipla apontaram diferentes vari\u00e1veis preditoras para as tr\u00eas dimens\u00f5es do \"burnout\" (62% de vari\u00e2ncia explicada na exaust\u00e3o emocional, 16% na realiza\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal e 13% na despersonaliza\u00e7\u00e3o). As an\u00e1lises discriminantes e \"t-test\" para amostras independentes demonstraram maior stress ocupacional nas mulheres, nos professores mais velhos, nos profissionais com v\u00ednculos profissionais mais prec\u00e1rios, nos professores com mais horas de trabalho e com mais alunos em sala de aula.
