{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2022,4,24]],"date-time":"2022-04-24T15:40:05Z","timestamp":1650814805064},"reference-count":54,"publisher":"FapUNIFESP (SciELO)","issue":"2","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":["Contexto int."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2014,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>O objetivo deste trabalho \u00e9 analisar e discutir o protagonismo da Uni\u00e3o Europeia (UE) na sua vizinhan\u00e7a do Leste, visando demonstrar que as rela\u00e7\u00f5es UE-Ucr\u00e2nia t\u00eam sido instrumentais no aprimoramento da condi\u00e7\u00e3o de ator internacional desta organiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Tomando como ponto de partida a conceitualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de actorness proposta por Bretherton e Vogler (2006), e sob o pano de fundo da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o positiva que tem pautado as rela\u00e7\u00f5es UE-Ucr\u00e2nia, o presente estudo confirma estarem reunidos, no contexto dessa rela\u00e7\u00e3o bilateral, os requisitos te\u00f3ricos indispens\u00e1veis \u00e0 caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o da UE como ator internacional. Por um lado, no caso ucraniano, Bruxelas conseguiu maximizar as oportunidades abertas pelo sistema internacional, ao passo que tem sabido usar a atra\u00e7\u00e3o que Kiev sente pelo modelo europeu (presen\u00e7a) como catalisador da influ\u00eancia da UE neste pa\u00eds. A evolu\u00e7\u00e3o da rela\u00e7\u00e3o bilateral \u00e9, igualmente, sintom\u00e1tica da capacidade da UE, quer na defini\u00e7\u00e3o da Ucr\u00e2nia como prioridade da sua atua\u00e7\u00e3o internacional, quer no empenhamento de uma diversidade de instrumentos pol\u00edticos tendo em vista o estreitamento dessa rela\u00e7\u00e3o (na aus\u00eancia de uma perspetiva de ades\u00e3o).
