O fato de ser biorreabsorv\u00edvel, biocompat\u00edvel, at\u00f3xico e ter uma cin\u00e9tica de degrada\u00e7\u00e3o que pode ser modificada pela raz\u00e3o entre os mon\u00f4meros na copolimeriza\u00e7\u00e3o justifica tal interesse. Neste trabalho, os copol\u00edmeros foram sintetizados a 175 \u00baC, por meio da abertura dos an\u00e9is dos d\u00edmeros c\u00edclicos dos mon\u00f4meros D,L-lact\u00eddeo e glicol\u00eddeo, na presen\u00e7a do iniciador octanoato de estanho e do co-iniciador \u00e1lcool laur\u00edlico. O controle eficiente do v\u00e1cuo no meio reacional, aliado \u00e0 adequada agita\u00e7\u00e3o, foram fundamentais para o sucesso da s\u00edntese. Para caracteriza\u00e7\u00e3o dos copol\u00edmeros sintetizados foram empregadas as t\u00e9cnicas de calorimetria explorat\u00f3ria diferencial (DSC), termogravimetria (TG) e espectroscopia na regi\u00e3o do infravermelho (FTIR). Foram analisados n\u00e3o somente os produtos de rea\u00e7\u00e3o, mas tamb\u00e9m os mon\u00f4meros de partida.
