Esta investiga\u00e7\u00e3o, de natureza qualitativa, de \u00e2mbito fenomenol\u00f3gico-interpretativa, configura um estudo de caso m\u00faltiplo, e envolve professores e diretores de 5 Agrupamentos de Escola e 5 inspetores da IGEC, num total de 135 sujeitos participantes. Teve como instrumentos de recolha de dados a entrevista semiestruturada e o inqu\u00e9rito. A an\u00e1lise de conte\u00fado, tendo-se recorrido ao software NVivo12, foi a t\u00e9cnica utilizada no tratamento das entrevistas e os question\u00e1rios foram analisados estatisticamente, com recurso programa SPSS. Foi poss\u00edvel concluir que a a\u00e7\u00e3o da inspe\u00e7\u00e3o se revela mais intensa na dimens\u00e3o organizacional e menos acentuada na dimens\u00e3o pedag\u00f3gica.
