Esses livros apresentam vers\u00f5es contrastantes, salientando conflitos de interesse e competi\u00e7\u00e3o dentro da comunidade cient\u00edfica. O Mercado Atacadista de Frutos do Mar de Huanan e o Instituto de Virologia de Wuhan est\u00e3o no centro do debate, gerando discuss\u00f5es que envolvem transbordamento zoon\u00f3tico e pesquisas em laborat\u00f3rios de alta conten\u00e7\u00e3o.
