Educ."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2012,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Neste artigo, descreve-se o contexto oficial portugu\u00eas da avalia\u00e7\u00e3o em educa\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9-escolar e procede-se a uma revis\u00e3o de estudos e testemunhos sobre a realidade das pr\u00e1ticas de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o no terreno da educa\u00e7\u00e3o de inf\u00e2ncia, em Portugal. Atendendo \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas avaliativas alternativas desej\u00e1veis e\/ou recomendadas pela literatura da especialidade, procura-se apresentar e enquadrar conceptualmente um instrumento de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o denominado Sistema de Acompanhamento das Crian\u00e7as (SAC), baseado no trabalho de Laevers et al. (1997), que oferece possibilidades de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o alternativa e\/ou \"aut\u00eantica\", respondendo plenamente \u00e0s orienta\u00e7\u00f5es oficiais e aos atuais consensos cient\u00edficos sobre qualidade educativa. Finalmente, destacamos a din\u00e2mica e alguns efeitos gerados pelo seu uso na interven\u00e7\u00e3o
