(Natal)"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2005,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>A motiva\u00e7\u00e3o intr\u00ednseca e os seus benef\u00edcios t\u00eam sido uma das principais \u00e1reas de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da Psicologia do Desporto. Contudo, o mesmo n\u00e3o se verifica quanto ao conhecimento do modo como os comportamentos s\u00e3o regulados e internalizados intrinsecamente pelos indiv\u00edduos. O prop\u00f3sito do presente estudo foi definir a validade de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o do continuum de auto-determina\u00e7\u00e3o (Deci &amp; Ryan, 1985) no contexto da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o F\u00edsica. Uma amostra de 1099 alunos (544 mo\u00e7as e 555 rapazes) com uma m\u00e9dia de 14,66\u00b10,75 anos de idade, respondeu a uma adapta\u00e7\u00e3o e tradu\u00e7\u00e3o do question\u00e1rio de Goudas, Biddle e Fox (1994) que visa medir as formas motivacionais definidas no continuum. Os procedimentos de modela\u00e7\u00e3o por equa\u00e7\u00f5es estruturais evidenciaram suporte emp\u00edrico para a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o do continuum de auto-determina\u00e7\u00e3o na compreens\u00e3o do modo como os alunos regulam intrinsecamente o seu comportamento neste contexto.
