Ambient."],"abstract":"<jats:p>RESUMO Os efeitos das altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e a crescente demanda de \u00e1gua para os variados consumos v\u00e3o levar ao re\u00faso de \u00e1guas residu\u00e1rias tratadas (ART). A recarga de aqu\u00edferos com ART pode constituir uma alternativa para o restabelecimento de volumes de \u00e1gua subterr\u00e2nea que poder\u00e3o ser utilizados para satisfazer parte daquelas atividades, especialmente em regi\u00f5es de escassez de \u00e1gua ou onde sua qualidade n\u00e3o \u00e9 adequada para uso. Uma pesquisa de dois anos realizada na esta\u00e7\u00e3o de tratamento de esgoto de Vila Fernando (Guarda, Portugal) mostrou que as carater\u00edsticas das ART s\u00e3o adequadas para que o efluente seja infiltrado no solo visando \u00e0 recarga de aqu\u00edfero. Como a \u00e1rea em estudo \u00e9 vasta e dada a necessidade de considerar v\u00e1rias restri\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9cnicas, ambientais e econ\u00f4micas, foi aplicada uma an\u00e1lise multicrit\u00e9rio baseada em Sistemas de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o Geogr\u00e1fica para encontrar o local mais adequado para a infiltra\u00e7\u00e3o de ART.
