Educ."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2007,6]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>A dislexia de desenvolvimento \u00e9 uma dificuldade espec\u00edfica de aprendizagem da leitura e escrita que condiciona a forma como o indiv\u00edduo se percepciona e como se relaciona com os seus pares nos mais diversos contextos desde educacionais at\u00e9 familiares. No sentido de avaliar as consequ\u00eancias emocionais e sociais decorrentes de um diagn\u00f3stico de dislexia de desenvolvimento, foram efectuados duas entrevistas, orientadas por inqu\u00e9ritos constru\u00eddos para o efeito, a uma crian\u00e7a portuguesa e ao seu Encarregado de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, resultante de um estudo de caso, de car\u00e1cter longitudinal. Os resultados comprovaram a necessidade de uma avalia\u00e7\u00e3o da dislexia efectuada precocemente, o que permite, por sua vez, uma interven\u00e7\u00e3o adequada, no sentido de combater o insucesso escolar.
