Inquiriram-se 229 membros de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es brasileiras e 236 de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es portuguesas. Os dados sugerem o seguinte: (1) o modelo de quatro dimens\u00f5es de justi\u00e7a (distributiva, procedimental, interpessoal e informacional) denota valia psicom\u00e9trica superior ao de tr\u00eas dimens\u00f5es, no qual as vertentes interpessoal e informacional s\u00e3o agrupadas numa mesma dimens\u00e3o interaccional; (2) as percep\u00e7\u00f5es de justi\u00e7a explicam entre 23% (Portugal) e 28% (Brasil) do comprometimento afetivo, entre 15% (Brasil) e 37% (Portugal) do normativo, e entre 1% (Brasil) e 6% (Portugal) do instrumental; (3) as vertentes de justi\u00e7a mais pertinentes para a explica\u00e7\u00e3o do la\u00e7o afetivo s\u00e3o a procedimental e a interpessoal; (4) o la\u00e7o normativo tende a ser explicado pelas facetas distributiva, procedimental e informacional da justi\u00e7a; (5) globalmente, quando se sentem tratadas com justi\u00e7a, as pessoas tendem a denotar mais fortes la\u00e7os afetivos e normativos, e menores \u00edndices de comprometimento instrumental; (6) estas tend\u00eancias s\u00e3o, em geral, aplic\u00e1veis \u00e0s duas amostras; (7) a compreens\u00e3o do comprometimento organizacional \u00e9 mais proveitosa quando se estudam os diferentes modos como as pessoas combinam os la\u00e7os afetivo, normativo e instrumental. O estudo ajuda a compreender as raz\u00f5es pelas quais as pessoas se comprometem psicologicamente com as suas organiza\u00e7\u00f5es.
