(Bauru)"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2011]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>A promo\u00e7\u00e3o da compreens\u00e3o da natureza da ci\u00eancia constitui um dos eixos fundamentais dos curr\u00edculos de ci\u00eancias actuais, procurando que os alunos entendam a produ\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento cient\u00edfico e tomem decis\u00f5es sobre assuntos de base cient\u00edfica com impacto directo na sua vida. Contudo, a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o demonstra que os professores n\u00e3o integram esta vertente no seu ensino, comprometendo as aprendizagens dos alunos sobre esta tem\u00e1tica. Num outro sentido, a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o atribui potencialidades \u00e0 discuss\u00e3o de assuntos sociocient\u00edficos controversos na escola na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de uma imagem de ci\u00eancia mais real. Com este estudo, pretende-se compreender como \u00e9 que um conjunto de 29 professores-formandos, de um mestrado em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o, avalia as potencialidades deste tipo de metodologia.
