{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,10,11]],"date-time":"2025-10-11T17:43:20Z","timestamp":1760204600304},"reference-count":37,"publisher":"FapUNIFESP (SciELO)","issue":"2","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":["Rev Bras Med Esporte"],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2012,4]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>O estudo identificou a propor\u00e7\u00e3o de crian\u00e7as e adolescentes da popula\u00e7\u00e3o escolar de Montes Claros, Minas Gerais, Brasil, que atendem aos crit\u00e9rios referenciados para a sa\u00fade a partir de escores equivalentes aos componentes de aptid\u00e3o f\u00edsica. A amostra foi constitu\u00edda por 2.849 sujeitos (1.457 mo\u00e7as e 1.392 rapazes), com idades entre seis e 18 anos. Os componentes da aptid\u00e3o f\u00edsica foram avaliados mediante bateria de testes composta por cinco itens: \"sentar-e-alcan\u00e7ar\" alternado, abdominal modificado, eleva\u00e7\u00e3o do tronco, puxada em suspens\u00e3o na barra modificado e caminhada\/corrida de \"vai-e-vem\", adotando-se pontos de corte para g\u00eanero e idade sugeridos pelo Fitnessgram. Mediante an\u00e1lise dos resultados foi poss\u00edvel observar que a propor\u00e7\u00e3o de escolares que atenderam \u00e0s exig\u00eancias motoras m\u00ednimas estabelecidas que possam satisfazer aos crit\u00e9rios referenciados para a sa\u00fade n\u00e3o foi maior que 8%, e a quantidade de jovens que alcan\u00e7aram os crit\u00e9rios foi menor a partir dos 10 anos de idade em ambos os sexos. Os dados mostram, ainda, que grande parte dos jovens estudados demonstrou componentes de aptid\u00e3o f\u00edsica que podem comprometer melhor estado de sa\u00fade, apontando para urgente necessidade de implementar programas de interven\u00e7\u00e3o direcionados ao incremento da pr\u00e1tica de exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico na popula\u00e7\u00e3o
