Pesqui."],"abstract":"<jats:p>Este estudo foi realizado com 1.162 professores e teve como objetivo analisar a experi\u00eancia de stress e a s\u00edndrome de burnout antes e ap\u00f3s a altera\u00e7\u00e3o do Estatuto da Carreira Docente em Portugal. Assim, foram efetuadas duas avalia\u00e7\u00f5es em momentos temporais distintos, assumindo-se um plano transversal de recolha de dados (2004\/2005, n=689; 2008\/2009, n=473). O protocolo de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o incluiu medidas de fontes de stress e de burnout. Os resultados indicaram que a experi\u00eancia de stress e de burnout aumentou entre as duas avalia\u00e7\u00f5es. Foram encontrados, em 2008\/2009, n\u00edveis mais altos em \u00e1reas relacionadas com press\u00f5es de tempo, excesso de trabalho e trabalho burocr\u00e1tico e administrativo; inversamente, houve diminui\u00e7\u00f5es em \u00e1reas relacionadas com as diferentes capacidades e motiva\u00e7\u00f5es dos alunos. Quanto \u00e0 predi\u00e7\u00e3o da s\u00edndrome de burnout, n\u00e3o se verificaram altera\u00e7\u00f5es substanciais nas vari\u00e1veis preditoras nos dois momentos.
