Pesqui."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2014,12]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Quando se combinam termos como sociedade, educa\u00e7\u00e3o e tecnologias, parece destacar-se a ideia de que as tecnologias t\u00eam sido associadas a algumas das mais expressivas mudan\u00e7as ocorridas na sociedade do s\u00e9culo XX e in\u00edcio do s\u00e9culo XXI, e t\u00eam sido relatadas como capazes de influenciar aspetos diversos e significativos da realidade social, a ponto de alguns autores dizerem que estamos perante uma nova forma de organiza\u00e7\u00e3o da sociedade e do sistema econ\u00f4mico, \u00e0 qual o sistema educativo deveria procurar corresponder, adequando-se. Neste artigo, apresentam-se algumas perspetivas e olhares que julgamos \u00fateis para alavancar uma reflex\u00e3o sustentada e projetiva sobre o passado, o presente e o futuro das inter-rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre as esferas social, educativa e tecnol\u00f3gica e as poss\u00edveis influ\u00eancias da\u00ed decorrentes para o ensino das ci\u00eancias. Assim, de forma mais descritiva, importa referir que este artigo \u00e9 constitu\u00eddo por cinco t\u00f3picos que julgamos relevantes para consubstanciar a reflex\u00e3o sobre a tem\u00e1tica em apre\u00e7o. Come\u00e7ando por apresentar algumas considera\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a sociedade da informa\u00e7\u00e3o, a met\u00e1fora da rede e o potencial coletivo, segue-se um enfoque nas tecnologias e na sua rela\u00e7\u00e3o com as \"escolas que aprendem\". Na medida em que o letramento digital n\u00e3o se esgota na compet\u00eancia tecnol\u00f3gica, a institui\u00e7\u00e3o escolar - e os seus agentes pode assumir um papel de media\u00e7\u00e3o entre os desafios da sociedade do conhecimento e as novas gera\u00e7\u00f5es.
