Pesqui."],"abstract":"<jats:p>Resumo Apesar da evid\u00eancia do impacto positivo das interven\u00e7\u00f5es na \u00e1rea da promo\u00e7\u00e3o da sa\u00fade mental nas escolas, existe a necessidade de realizar estudos robustos, em particular quando novos programas s\u00e3o desenvolvidos, de forma a promover a ado\u00e7\u00e3o de boas pr\u00e1ticas e a identifica\u00e7\u00e3o de estrat\u00e9gias eficazes de interven\u00e7\u00e3o. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o impacto da implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do curr\u00edculo PROMEHS em Portugal, em contexto escolar com um grupo de crian\u00e7as e adolescentes (N=1764). O estudo utilizou um desenho quase-experimental de car\u00e1ter longitudinal no grupo experimental e no grupo em espera nas fases pr\u00e9 e p\u00f3s-teste da implementa\u00e7\u00e3o. Foram coletados dados com professores, pais\/respons\u00e1veis pelos alunos e alunos, atrav\u00e9s de um conjunto de instrumentos: nomeadamente, o question\u00e1rio das Capacidades e Dificuldades (SDQ), Compet\u00eancias Socioemocionais (SSIS-SEL Brief Scales), dom\u00ednio acad\u00e9mico, resili\u00eancia (CDRisc10) e impacto do PROMEHS. Os resultados apontam para um impacto significativo no aumento das compet\u00eancias socioemocionais e resultados acad\u00e9micos dos alunos, bem como na redu\u00e7\u00e3o das dificuldades, de acordo com a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos professores. Na avalia\u00e7\u00e3o dos pais\/respons\u00e1veis pelos alunos e dos alunos n\u00e3o se obtiveram resultados estatisticamente significativos. No entanto, a avalia\u00e7\u00e3o do impacto pelas tr\u00eas fontes foi muito positiva. De um modo geral, os resultados apontam a efic\u00e1cia do curr\u00edculo PROMEHS na promo\u00e7\u00e3o do desenvolvimento socioemocional dos alunos e destacam a import\u00e2ncia desse tipo de programa nas escolas
