Da mesma forma, os res\u00edduos das suas actividades corespondem a uma elevada parcela dos res\u00edduos produzidos em toda a UE. A actual legisla\u00e7\u00e3o na UE visa criar condi\u00e7\u00f5es para a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de medidas de preven\u00e7\u00e3o e reciclagem de RCD. No entanto, carece de instrumentos que acelerem o desenvolvimento de um sector t\u00e3o tradicional como o da constru\u00e7\u00e3o. O presente trabalho tem por objectivo determinar indicadores que possibilitem estimar a quantidade de RCD gerados, ao n\u00edvel da obra, tanto globalmente como por fluxo de res\u00edduos. A gera\u00e7\u00e3o de RCD foi estimada para seis sectores espec\u00edficos: nova constru\u00e7\u00e3o residencial, nova constru\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o residencial, demoli\u00e7\u00e3o residencial, demoli\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o residencial, reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o residencial e reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o residencial. Neste artigo, apresentam-se os resultados para a nova constru\u00e7\u00e3o residencial.
