Considerando sua import\u00e2ncia na forma\u00e7\u00e3o inicial de professores, o objetivo deste ensaio foi o de analisar a estrutura da base de conhecimentos dos futuros professores de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o F\u00edsica sob a perspectiva do conhecimento pedag\u00f3gico do conte\u00fado, buscando contribuir com o debate a respeito do papel desse conhecimento no planejamento e na implementa\u00e7\u00e3o das situa\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino e aprendizagem, bem como na forma\u00e7\u00e3o docente dos estudantes-professores. Diante do referencial te\u00f3rico analisado, pode-se compreender o conhecimento pedag\u00f3gico do conte\u00fado como aquele que o estudante-professor utiliza para, a partir dos seus objetivos, da realidade dos alunos e das caracter\u00edsticas do contexto de ensino e aprendizagem, convocar, gerir e fazer interagir os conhecimentos da base de conhecimentos para o ensino, visando \u00e0 adapta\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0 transforma\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0 implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do conhecimento do conte\u00fado a ser ensinado, de modo a torn\u00e1-lo compreens\u00edvel e ensin\u00e1vel aos alunos. Para alcan\u00e7ar esses objetivos, a literatura sugere a aproxima\u00e7\u00e3o do contexto de forma\u00e7\u00e3o inicial em Educa\u00e7\u00e3o F\u00edsica daquele de atua\u00e7\u00e3o profissional do professor na Educa\u00e7\u00e3o B\u00e1sica, al\u00e9m da amplia\u00e7\u00e3o das oportunidades para que os estudantes-professores se defrontem com diferentes dilemas e situa\u00e7\u00f5es-problema ao longo da forma\u00e7\u00e3o inicial.
