Mater."],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2011,3]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Da observa\u00e7\u00e3o dos danos provocados por diversos sismos recentes, verifica-se que o escorregamento a\u00e7o-bet\u00e3o \u00e9 uma das principais causas de dano e colapso de edif\u00edcios existentes de bet\u00e3o armado. Em muitos pa\u00edses, este fen\u00f3meno assume particular import\u00e2ncia nos edif\u00edcios constru\u00eddos at\u00e9 aos anos 70, com armadura lisa e anteriormente \u00e0 introdu\u00e7\u00e3o dos primeiros regulamentos que contemplam a ac\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00edsmica com maior detalhe. Este tipo de estruturas apresenta, geralmente, pormenoriza\u00e7\u00e3o deficiente da armadura, fracas condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ader\u00eancia e confinamento inadequado do bet\u00e3o. As liga\u00e7\u00f5es viga-pilar nas estruturas de bet\u00e3o armado s\u00e3o pontos onde ocorrem danos significativos quando as estruturas est\u00e3o sujeitas a carregamentos c\u00edclicos, uma vez que nestas zonas ocorre a maior concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de esfor\u00e7os. O fen\u00f3meno do escorregamento assume particular relev\u00e2ncia nas liga\u00e7\u00f5es viga-pilar, devido aos maiores esfor\u00e7os que aqui se desenvolvem mas tamb\u00e9m ao facto de nestas zonas se realizar tipicamente a ancoragem dos var\u00f5es longitudinais dos pilares e\/ou vigas. Neste artigo s\u00e3o apresentados os principais resultados dos ensaios c\u00edclicos de dois n\u00f3s viga-pilar \u00e0 escala real com igual geometria e igual pormenoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da armadura, representativos de n\u00f3s interiores de edif\u00edcios de bet\u00e3o armado constru\u00eddos at\u00e9 meados dos anos 70 sem pormenoriza\u00e7\u00e3o adequada para fazer face \u00e0 ac\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00edsmica. Um dos n\u00f3s foi constru\u00eddo com armadura lisa (com fracas condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ader\u00eancia) e o outro n\u00f3 com armadura nervurada (com boas condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ader\u00eancia). Faz-se tamb\u00e9m a compara\u00e7\u00e3o dos resultados obtidos para compreender a influ\u00eancia das condi\u00e7\u00f5es de ader\u00eancia na resposta c\u00edclica de n\u00f3s interiores viga-pilar deste tipo de estruturas de bet\u00e3o armado.
