This requires\nnot only the timely perception of surrounding geometries\nand distances but also the ability to react to changing\nsituations through predefined, learned but also reusable skill\nendings of a robot so that physical damage or bodily harm\ncan be avoided. In this context, 4D perception offers the possibility\nof predicting one\u2019s own position and changes in the\nenvironment over time.
