Current state-of-the-art approaches for evidence-based fake news detection primarily utilize vector-based Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. Recent studies have proposed RAG systems that outperform vector-based RAG systems by modeling the document store as a Knowledge Graph (KG).
