{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,27]],"date-time":"2026-03-27T03:37:29Z","timestamp":1774582649740,"version":"3.50.1"},"reference-count":0,"publisher":"Universidad de Oviedo","issue":"2","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":["Econ Bus Lett"],"abstract":"<jats:p>This paper aims to investigate the association between firms\u2019 financial performance and their sustainability performance, as measured by Tobin's Q, with a focus on the individual ESG pillars. Our study analyzes constituents of the Stoxx Europe 600 index. We employ different econometric approaches and perform a comprehensive analysis of the post-2015 agreement concerning climate change. Results suggest a statistically positive relationship between firms\u2019 ESG and financial performance, although of greater magnitude for the social component.
