No estudo adotou-se uma abordagem qualitativa e recorreu-se \u00e0 an\u00e1lise de conte\u00fado, tendo-se come\u00e7ado por analisar os aspectos gerais do tema e prosseguiu-se com a an\u00e1lise detalhada dos t\u00f3picos Dados e Probabilidades, e em cada um deles os respectivos subt\u00f3picos e conte\u00fados, organizando-se os resultados por ano escolar de cada ciclo de estudos do ensino b\u00e1sico. Em termos de resultados, no t\u00f3pico Dados, salientam-se as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es estat\u00edsticas e a estrutura\u00e7\u00e3o do programa a partir das suas etapas, a sele\u00e7\u00e3o das ferramentas estat\u00edsticas a aplicar na an\u00e1lise estat\u00edstica, a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o e conclus\u00e3o de resultados estat\u00edsticos obtidos pelos alunos ou publicados nos media, a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o e divulga\u00e7\u00e3o das conclus\u00f5es obtidas e o recurso a tecnologias digitais. No t\u00f3pico Probabilidades destaca-se o estudo informal de acontecimentos e de probabilidade como grau de convic\u00e7\u00e3o, valor compreendido entre 0% e 100% e frequ\u00eancia relativa at\u00e9 ao 7\u00ba ano, introduzindo-se nos anos seguintes a defini\u00e7\u00e3o formal de acontecimento, as opera\u00e7\u00f5es com acontecimentos e a regra de Laplace.\nPalavras-chave: Programa Escolar. Dados e Probabilidades.\nAbstractThis article analyses and discusses the curricular guidelines of the Essential Learning of basic education, a Portuguese mathematics programme, with regard to the topic Data and Probability, taking into account recent recommendations for teaching this topic. The study adopted a qualitative approach and used content analysis, starting by analysing the general aspects of the topic and continuing with a detailed analysis of the Data and Probability topics, and in each of them the respective subtopics and contents, organising the results by school year of each cycle of studies in basic education. In terms of results, in the Data topic, the highlights are the statistical investigations and the structuring of the programme based on its stages, the selection of statistical tools to be applied in the statistical analysis, the interpretation and conclusion of statistical results obtained by students or published in the media, the communication and dissemination of the conclusions obtained and the use of digital technologies. In the Probabilities topic, the informal study of events and probability stands out as a degree of conviction, a value between 0% and 100% and relative frequency up to the 7th year, introducing in the following years the formal definition of an event, operations with events and Laplace's.\nKeywords: Syllabus.
