This new issue once again brings together a collection of original manuscripts that reaffirm the journal's strategic role in promoting and disseminating scientific knowledge on human health in the Portuguese-speaking world. It continues to stand out for its comprehensive, independent nature, committed to scientific rigour, editorial integrity, and the promotion of high-quality original knowledge production. In a context of great political and social instability, also felt in science, BBR IBB remains a solid, stable, and reliable reference in the national and Portuguese-speaking scientific publishing landscape, attracting more authors and institutions.
