Em m\u00e9dia, alunos e professores revelam dificuldades em compreender e aplicar esse t\u00f3pico adequadamente. Considera-se fundamental promover discuss\u00f5es para desenvolver o conhecimento do professor de matem\u00e1tica em m\u00e9dia (e outros t\u00f3picos), pois esse conhecimento impacta nas aprendizagens matem\u00e1ticas e resultados dos alunos. Esse conhecimento \u00e9 espec\u00edfico e especializado do professor de matem\u00e1tica (excluindo outras profiss\u00f5es), sendo entendido na perspectiva do Mathematics Teacher\u2019s Specialised Knowledge.
