This study is the first conducted in this health region of Angola that assesses the reality of public and private health organizations in using information technologies to support the management of hospital information systems. With the patient, the hospital's mission, the results of this study can awaken managers to the need to use IT to manage clinical information.<\/p>","DOI":"10.21203\/rs.3.rs-1485429\/v1","type":"posted-content","created":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,28]],"date-time":"2022-03-28T20:08:10Z","timestamp":1648498090000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Exploring Public and Private Hospital-Based Health Information Technology: A Cross-Sectional Study in Hospitals in the Municipality of Lubango-Angola"],"prefix":"10.21203","author":[{"ORCID":"https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-2229-4292","authenticated-orcid":false,"given":"Tomas Hambili","family":"Sanjuluca","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"1 Ph.D. student in biomedicine at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Beira Interior-Portugal; 2Teacher of the curriculum unit medical informatics at the Faculty of Medicine of the Mandume  Ndemufayo University(FMUMN), in Lubango, Angola."}]},{"given":"Anabela","family":"Almeida","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"3Assistant Professor, Department of Management and Economics, Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, University of Beira Interior (UBI), Master's Director in Health Unit Management at UBI and researcher at NECE - Research Unit in Business Sciences, Covilha-Portugal -"}]},{"given":"Ricardo","family":"Correia","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"4Auxiliary Professor at CIDES-FMUP (Health Information and Decision Sciences); researcher of CINTESIS-FMUP (Center for Research in Health Technologies and Information Systems-Portugal"}]}],"member":"297","container-title":[],"original-title":[],"link":[{"URL":"https:\/\/www.researchsquare.com\/article\/rs-1485429\/v1","content-type":"text\/html","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"text-mining"},{"URL":"https:\/\/www.researchsquare.com\/article\/rs-1485429\/v1.html","content-type":"unspecified","content-version":"vor","intended-application":"similarity-checking"}],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,28]],"date-time":"2022-03-28T20:18:10Z","timestamp":1648498690000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.researchsquare.com\/article\/rs-1485429\/v1"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,24]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.21203\/rs.3.rs-1485429\/v1","relation":{},"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2022,3,24]]},"subtype":"preprint"}}
