{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2026,3,7]],"date-time":"2026-03-07T21:39:01Z","timestamp":1772919541172,"version":"3.50.1"},"posted":{"date-parts":[[2026]]},"group-title":"SSRN","reference-count":65,"publisher":"Elsevier BV","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"abstract":"<jats:p>This paper analyzes the interrelationships among digital entrepreneurial support and infrastructure (INFRA), culture (CULT) and education (EDU), with HEIs students\u2019 digital entrepreneurial attitude (ATT) and intention (INT) to become digital entrepreneurs. The results confirm significant relationships between INFRA, CULT, EDU and ATT. Moreover, ATT plays a decisive role in shaping INT, acting as a key link between the training and support provided by HEIs and the predisposition to engage in more entrepreneurial behavior. In addition, the findings show that INFRA, CULT, EDU and ATT, not only exert a significant influence on INT\u2014directly in the case of ATT and indirectly for the remaining constructs\u2014but also operate as necessary conditions for the existence of digital entrepreneurial intention. Thus, fostering INT requires a synchronized development of INFRA, CULT, EDU and ATT, as laks in any of these factors may constitute a bottleneck that cannot be compensated for by higher levels of the others. This study contributes to a better understanding of the role of HEIs in digital entrepreneurship and it reinforces the importance of digital entrepreneurial culture as an intermiry variable of entrepreneurial intention.
