Let<jats:italic>\u03c6<\/jats:italic>be a formula in the language of ordered domains. In this note we establish some topological properties which are transferred from<jats:italic>\u03c6<\/jats:italic><jats:sup><jats:bold>M<\/jats:bold><\/jats:sup>to<jats:italic>\u03c6<\/jats:italic><jats:sup><jats:bold>R<\/jats:bold><\/jats:sup>and vice versa. Then, we apply these transfer results to give a new proof of a result of<jats:bold>M<\/jats:bold>. Edmundo\u2014based on the work of A.
