We also show that for every computable limit ordinal <jats:italic>\u03b1<\/jats:italic>, there is a computable structure <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0022481200003431_inline1\"\/> with an additional relation <jats:italic>R<\/jats:italic> that is intrinsically <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0022481200003431_inline4\"\/> on <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0022481200003431_inline1\"\/>, but not relatively intrinsically <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0022481200003431_inline4\"\/> on <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/1999\/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0022481200003431_inline1\"\/> (equivalently, it is not definable by a computable \u03a3<jats:sub><jats:italic>\u03b1<\/jats:italic><\/jats:sub> formula with finitely many parameters).
