Utilizamos a metodologia hermen\u00eautica anal\u00edtica ao conte\u00fado da obra deste pedagogo (fontes prim\u00e1rias, secund\u00e1rias), elencada nos seguintes objetivos: analisar as carater\u00edsticas da pedagogia contempor\u00e2nea em Vasconcelos, sabendo que essa pedagogia cobra for\u00e7a no s\u00e9c. XX; refletir os pressupostos psicopedag\u00f3gicos referidos por este escolanovista, em que a Pedagogia se funda na Pedologia e que determina a constitui\u00e7\u00e3o do sistema vasconcelosiano. Estruturalmente abordamos 2 pontos de argumenta\u00e7\u00e3o interpretativa: Faria de Vasconcelos e a pedagogia contempor\u00e2nea da \u00e9poca; os princ\u00edpios pedag\u00f3gicos fundados na pedologia relativamente ao estudo cient\u00edfico da crian\u00e7a e adolesc\u00eancia.\n\u00a0\nPalavras chave: Faria de Vasconcelos; Pedagogia contempor\u00e2nea; Psicopedagogia; Escola Nova; Pedologia.\n\u00a0\nAbstract\nThe research, with historical and educational content, addresses the psychopedagogical assumptions of contemporary pedagogy in the thought of Faria de Vasconcelos, Portuguese schoolnovista, which were levers in the actions he performed in the context of the education of educators\/teachers, in school\/professional guidance and pedagogical rehabilitation of children\/young people with learning difficulties. We used the analytical hermeneutic methodology to the content of this pedagogue's work (primary, secondary sources), based on the following objectives: to analyse the characteristics of contemporary pedagogy in Vasconcelos, knowing that this pedagogy demands strength in the 20th century. XX; to reflect the psychopedagogical assumptions mentioned by this schoolnovista, in which Pedagogy is founded on Paedology and which determines the constitution of the Vasconcelosian system. Structurally we approach 2 points of interpretative argumentation: Faria de Vasconcelos and the contemporary pedagogy of the time; the pedagogical principles based on paedology in relation to the scientific study of children and adolescents.\nKeywords: Faria de Vasconcelos; Contemporary pedagogy; Psychopedagogical; Schoolnovista; Paedology\n\u00a0\nRESUMEN\nLa investigaci\u00f3n, con contenido hist\u00f3rico y educativo, aborda los supuestos psicopedag\u00f3gicos de la pedagog\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea en el pensamiento de Faria de Vasconcelos, escolanovista portugu\u00e9s, que sirvieron de palancas en sus acciones realizadas en el contexto de la formaci\u00f3n de educadores y maestros, en la orientaci\u00f3n escolar\/profesional y en la rehabilitaci\u00f3n pedag\u00f3gica de ni\u00f1os\/j\u00f3venes con dificultades de aprendizaje. Utilizamos la metodolog\u00eda hermen\u00e9utica anal\u00edtica al contenido de la obra escrita de este pedagogo (fuentes primarias, secundarias), basado en los siguientes objetivos: analizar las caracter\u00edsticas de la pedagog\u00eda contempor\u00e1nea en Vasconcelos, sabiendo que esta pedagog\u00eda tuvo una gran fuerza en el siglo XX; reflejar los supuestos psicopedag\u00f3gicos mencionados por este escolanovista, en que la Pedagog\u00eda se basa en la Pedolog\u00eda (experimental) y que determina la constituci\u00f3n del sistema vasconcelosiano.
