Despite IT governance awareness in recent years, there is a lack of a holistic view of the organization\u2019s IT governance that could help board directors to have an overall map of the current situation and anticipate the further steps needed to raise its level of maturity. This text proposes a classification scheme for IT governance according to two orthogonal dimensions: the stakeholders\u2019 perspective (from corporate board to end-users) as well as the primitives that are an object of IT governance.
