The\n   loss of orthogonality among the subcarriers will degrade the system\n   performace, and this effect is named intercarrier interference (ICI). In this\n   paper, a Wiener-based successive interference cancellation (SIC) scheme is\n   proposed to detect the OFDM signals. It provides good ICI cancellation\n   performance; however, it suffers large computation complexity. Therefore, a\n   modified Wienerbased SIC scheme is further proposed to reduce the computation\n   complexity. Simulation results show the performance of the Wienerbased SIC\n   scheme is better than those of zero forcing, zero forcing plus SIC and\n   original Wiener-based schemes. Furthermore, with the modified Wiener-based\n   SIC scheme, the performance is still better than the others. Although the\n   performace of the modified Wiener-based SIC scheme suffers little degradation\n   compared to Wiener-based SIC scheme, the computation complexity can be\n   dramatically reduced.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.2298\/csis120722039w","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2013,4,16]],"date-time":"2013-04-16T09:16:28Z","timestamp":1366103788000},"page":"877-896","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":1,"title":["Wiener-based ICI cancellation schemes for OFDM systems over fading channels"],"prefix":"10.2298","volume":"10","author":[{"given":"Jyh-Horng","family":"Wen","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Electrical Engineering, Tunghai University, Section, Taichung City, Taiwan"}]},{"given":"Yung-Cheng","family":"Yao","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung Cheng University University Road, Minhsiung Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan"}]},{"given":"Ying-Chih","family":"Kuo","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"Institute of Communications Engineering, National Chung Cheng University University Road, Minhsiung Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan"}]}],"member":"1078","container-title":["Computer Science and Information Systems"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","deposited":{"date-parts":[[2023,5,29]],"date-time":"2023-05-29T08:31:03Z","timestamp":1685349063000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/doiserbia.nb.rs\/Article.aspx?ID=1820-02141300039W"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2013]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"2","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2013]]}},"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.2298\/csis120722039w","relation":{},"ISSN":["1820-0214","2406-1018"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1820-0214","type":"print"},{"value":"2406-1018","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2013]]}}}
