Two are the\n   main goals of our approach. First, to enhance the privacy of patients.\n   Second, to decongest the Health Monitoring Center (HMC) from the enormous\n   amount of biomedical data generated by the users? wearable sensors. In our\n   solution personal software agents are used to receive and manage the personal\n   medical data of their owners. Moreover, the personal agents can support\n   privacy-preserving distributed statistical analysis of the health data. To\n   this end, we present a cryptographic protocol based on secure multi-party\n   computations that accept as input current or archived values of users?\n   wearable sensors. We describe a prototype implementation that performs a\n   statistical analysis on a community of independent personal agents. Finally,\n   experiments with up to several hundred agents confirm the viability and the\n   effectiveness of our approach.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.2298\/csis130120022d","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2014,5,26]],"date-time":"2014-05-26T14:00:00Z","timestamp":1401112800000},"page":"525-548","source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":4,"title":["User-centric privacy-preserving statistical analysis of ubiquitous health monitoring data"],"prefix":"10.2298","volume":"11","author":[{"given":"George","family":"Drosatos","sequence":"first","affiliation":[{"name":"Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace University Campus, Xanthi, Greece"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]},{"suffix":"S.","given":"Pavlos","family":"Efraimidis","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[{"name":"ATHENA, Research & Innovation Center, University Campus, Xanthi, Greece"}],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"1078","container-title":["Computer Science and Information Systems"],"original-title":[],"language":"en","deposited":{"date-parts":[[2023,5,29]],"date-time":"2023-05-29T08:31:33Z","timestamp":1685349093000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/doiserbia.nb.rs\/Article.aspx?ID=1820-02141400022D"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2014]]},"references-count":0,"journal-issue":{"issue":"2","published-print":{"date-parts":[[2014]]}},"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.2298\/csis130120022d","relation":{},"ISSN":["1820-0214","2406-1018"],"issn-type":[{"value":"1820-0214","type":"print"},{"value":"2406-1018","type":"electronic"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2014]]}}}
