In effect, for low hole concentrations the Mn ion system is in a paramagnetic phase, whereas for higher ones it reveals typical ferromagnetic behavior. In this paper, recent work on IV-VI ferromagnetic (SnMnTe, PbSnMnTe and GeMnTe) systems will be presented.
