There is no trouble with the idea that \u201cif <jats:italic>p<\/jats:italic>, then <jats:italic>q<\/jats:italic>\u201d must be so understood that \u201cif <jats:italic>p\/T<\/jats:italic><jats:sub>1<\/jats:sub>, then we must have (<jats:italic>p\u2283q<\/jats:italic>)T when <jats:italic>q<\/jats:italic>\/T, and (<jats:italic>P\u2283q<\/jats:italic>)\/F when <jats:italic>q<\/jats:italic>\/F.
