A atualizac\u0327a\u0303o pode ser compreendida atrave\u0301s da ana\u0301lise da evoluc\u0327a\u0303o dos exames nacionais. Atendendo ao papel fulcral que os exames te\u0302m desempenhado na formulac\u0327a\u0303o e implementac\u0327a\u0303o de aprendizagens e curri\u0301culos, este artigo analisa alguns aspetos da evoluc\u0327a\u0303o dos exames nacionais de Fi\u0301sica e Qui\u0301mica, exemplificando implicac\u0327o\u0303es dina\u0302micas entre os exames (diferentes conteu\u0301dos e aprendizagens) e os curri\u0301culos, no a\u0302mbito das reformas curriculares ocorridas em Portugal. Nesta abordagem, na\u0303o pretendemos apresentar uma resenha de momentos negativos de reformas do ensino de 1950 a 2018, mas antes mostrar que o ensino tem atualmente maiores exige\u0302ncias, quer ao ni\u0301vel da lecionac\u0327a\u0303o, quer ao ni\u0301vel de curri\u0301culos, enfatizando um maior ni\u0301vel de compete\u0302ncias no domi\u0301nio do racioci\u0301nio abstrato, paralelamente com a flexibilizac\u0327a\u0303o curricular.Palavras-chave: Exames, Curri\u0301culo, Modelos de Avaliac\u0327a\u0303o Abstract The evolution of our society imposes the constant updating of the Sciences curricula. The updates can be understood through the analysis of the evolution of the national exams. Keeping in mind the central part national exams have been performing in the design and implementation of learning and curricula, the analysis of the evolution of the Physics and Chemistry national exams shows the dynamic implications between the exams (different contents and learning) and the curricula, in the realm of the curricular reforms that happened in Portugal. This approach does not aim to show a compilation of the negative moments of the reforms from 1950 to 2018, but to show that our school system nowadays has a higher demand level, both at the teaching level as well as the curricular level, highlighting a higher level of competence in abstract thinking, alongside with curricular flexibility.
