Exitus"],"abstract":"<jats:p>A educa\u00e7\u00e3o emocional \u00e9 fundamental para a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal e social do indiv\u00edduo. Assim sendo, buscou-se por meio desta pesquisa adaptar a prova para avaliar a capacidade de perceber, expressar e valorizar emo\u00e7\u00f5es das crian\u00e7as portuguesas na educa\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e9-escolar. Ap\u00f3s equival\u00eancia sem\u00e2ntica, operacional, conceptual e de itens, a prova foi respondida por 374 crian\u00e7as. Os dados obtidos foram contrastados com crit\u00e9rios externos avaliados pelas representa\u00e7\u00f5es das 26 educadoras de inf\u00e2ncia. Verificou-se maior n\u00famero de acertos em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 alegria e \u00e0 tristeza na subescala perce\u00e7\u00e3o e express\u00e3o das emo\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas com a escola privada a apresentar maior rendimento; que a perce\u00e7\u00e3o e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o das emo\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas aumenta em fun\u00e7\u00e3o da idade; que o g\u00e9nero feminino apresenta maior performance na subescala perce\u00e7\u00e3o e valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o das emo\u00e7\u00f5es b\u00e1sicas;\u00a0 e rela\u00e7\u00f5es significativas positivas entre as subescalas em an\u00e1lise e os crit\u00e9rios externos - adapta\u00e7\u00e3o, controlo, rendimento e aceita\u00e7\u00e3o, e correla\u00e7\u00f5es significativas negativas entre as subescalas e a conflitividade. A prova, embora em fase desenvolvimental, contribui para medir a adapta\u00e7\u00e3o pessoal e social das crian\u00e7as portuguesas na etapa pr\u00e9-escolar\u00a0Palavras-chave: Perce\u00e7\u00e3o Emocional.
