To this end, the most up-to-date information regarding the employability of professional musicians and the job offers in the sector for the period 2022-2024 has been compiled, as well as the undergraduate and master's degree programs offered at Spanish Higher Music Education Conservatories. Information has also been collected from 401 students and graduates of these educational centers to study their position in the current labor market and their perceptions of the skills acquired during their training to address their access to employment. The results of the study show a clear divergence between the needs assessed by musicians who graduated in recent years and the training they received, identifying gaps in self-management, knowledge of the music industry, and entrepreneurship, among others.
