{"status":"ok","message-type":"work","message-version":"1.0.0","message":{"indexed":{"date-parts":[[2025,12,1]],"date-time":"2025-12-01T02:50:58Z","timestamp":1764557458754},"publisher-location":"California","reference-count":0,"publisher":"International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence Organization","content-domain":{"domain":[],"crossmark-restriction":false},"short-container-title":[],"published-print":{"date-parts":[[2018,7]]},"abstract":"<jats:p>Classical logic argumentation (Cl-Arg) under the\n\nstable semantics yields argumentative characterisations\n\nof non-monotonic inference in Preferred Subtheories.\n\nThis paper studies these characterisations\n\nunder both the standard approach to Cl-Arg, and a\n\nrecent dialectical approach that is provably rational\n\nunder resource bounds. Two key contributions are\n\nmade. Firstly, the preferred extensions are shown\n\nto coincide with the stable extensions. This means\n\nthat algorithms and proof theories for the admissible\n\nsemantics can now be used to decide credulous\n\ninference in Preferred Subtheories.
