Study parameters Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP), Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP), Pulse rate (PR), Hamilton anxiety score (Ham-A) and Quality of life score (QOL) were measured at baseline and after 3 months of SKY interventions. Results: SKY interventions resulted in statistically highly significant decrease in SBP, DBP, PR, Ham-A and QOL score (p<0.001) after 3 months of regular practices in the study subjects. Conclusion: SKY interventions are found to statistically significant decrease in Blood Pressure, Pulse rate, Anxiety and improved Quality of life score in study participants. Application of SKY before the development of Diabetes Mellitus in the individuals may help to prevent them to develop into clinical cases. The underlying mechanism to decrease Blood Pressure, Pulse rate, Anxiety score and improved Quality of life score in the study participants, may be through increased parasympathetic activity along with decreased sympathetic activity.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.25258\/ijpqa.16.7.52","type":"journal-article","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,11,1]],"date-time":"2025-11-01T07:00:21Z","timestamp":1761980421000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["Effect of Sudarshan Kriya Yoga on Blood Pressure, Pulse rate, Anxiety and Quality of life in Pre-diabetic subjects"],"prefix":"10.25258","author":[{"name":"Associate Professor, Department of Physiology, Govt.
