Clarificam-se conceitos-chave, como reprodutibilidade, replicabilidade e generaliza\u00e7\u00e3o, e distinguem-se os diferentes tipos de replica\u00e7\u00e3o em investiga\u00e7\u00e3o. S\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m sistematizados crit\u00e9rios para a sele\u00e7\u00e3o de estudos a replicar e apresentadas recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es para boas pr\u00e1ticas na conce\u00e7\u00e3o, implementa\u00e7\u00e3o e interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de estudos de replica\u00e7\u00e3o. O cap\u00edtulo explora ainda os desafios metodol\u00f3gicos e disciplinares associados \u00e0 ado\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas de replica\u00e7\u00e3o, bem como estrat\u00e9gias institucionais, formativas e de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica para promover a replica\u00e7\u00e3o, apresentando propostas para o refor\u00e7o sustentado destas vias atrav\u00e9s da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o.Abstract: This chapter discusses the central role of replication in enhancing the credibility of scientific knowledge. It clarifies key concepts: reproducibility, replicability, and generalization; and differentiates between various types of replications in research. It also outlines criteria for selecting studies to replicate and offers recommendations for best practices in the design, implementation, and interpretation of replication studies. The chapter also explores the methodological and disciplinary challenges associated with adopting replication practices and examines institutional, educational, and science communication strategies that promote replication.
