Tendo em conta que a ind\u00fastria cer\u00e2mica portuguesa, em 2021, composta por 1.120 empresas, representava 1,3% do volume de neg\u00f3cios da ind\u00fastria transformadora nacional, gerando mais de 1.233 milh\u00f5es de euros, \u00e9 imperativo que seja sustent\u00e1vel, crescendo de forma respons\u00e1vel e em equil\u00edbrio com a sociedade e o ambiente. Metodologia: A metodologia de investiga\u00e7\u00e3o-a\u00e7\u00e3o baseou-se na defini\u00e7\u00e3o de indicadores, de acordo com as normas europeias e internacionais, na dupla materialidade e nos Objectivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel (ODS). Resultados: Os resultados do trabalho permitiram identificar e medir a sustentabilidade de um grupo empresarial de refer\u00eancia na ind\u00fastria cer\u00e2mica em Portugal, nas vertentes econ\u00f3mica, ambiental, social e de governa\u00e7\u00e3o. Discuss\u00e3o: Apesar de o grupo empresarial possuir alguns indicadores internos, nomeadamente na \u00e1rea ambiental, estes n\u00e3o estavam sistematizados, completos ou interligados com as restantes \u00e1reas. Conclus\u00f5es: Verificou-se que existe uma base comum de indicadores de sustentabilidade presentes em diferentes sectores de uma mesma ind\u00fastria, neste caso a ind\u00fastria cer\u00e2mica.
