Der vorliegende\nBeitrag besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit den aktuellen Rahmenbedingungen\nder Lizenzierung elektronischer Fachinformation in Deutschland, die derzeit auf lokaler Ebene, im Rahmen von Konsortien und im Kontext DFG-gef\u00f6rderter Nationallizenzen \/ Allianz-Lizenzen erfolgt. Es wird die Frage gestellt, wie die Versorgung der Wissenschaft mit Online-Publikationen auf der Basis des Erreichten noch weiter verbessert werden kann. Beleuchtet werden die Entwicklung geeigneter Gesch\u00e4ftsmodelle im Verh\u00e4ltnis zu den unterschiedlichen lokalen Bedarfsebenen wie auch strukturelle Desiderate mit Blick auf m\u00f6gliche Beschaffungs- und Bereitstellungsebenen.\nAus der Perspektive verschiedener Typen von Informationseinrichtungen \u2013 Hochschulbibliotheken, au\u00dferuniversit\u00e4re Forschungseinrichtungen und Bibliotheken mit regionalem \/ \u00fcberregionalem Versorgungsauftrag \u2013 wird aufgezeigt, wie diese sich in einem sich ver\u00e4ndernden Umfeld positionieren. \n\nTo an increasing degree the quality of research and teaching is dependent upon comprehensive and immediate access to information resources available from all over the world. This article deals with the current framework of conditions for the licensing of electronic resources in Germany as provided either locally, within consortia, or as part of the national or alliance licences funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The authors investigate how the provision of online publications can be further improved and shed light on both the development of suitable commercial models designed to meet various local requirements and structural necessities in regards to acquisition and information provision.
