The specific class of this type of systems that constitutes the domain for the proposed research defines multi-agent systems utilizing agents that encompass high-level symbolic name worlds that are linked to their environment via low level sensory input. A successful outcome when attempting collaborative tasks in such systems is always dependent on the ability of the agents to refer to the correct objects in their communication. In my research I will pursue an approach towards confronting the above problem and propose a solution.
