More precisely, SCOPE is built as a Basic Action Theory in Reiter's version of situation calculus. In addition, we show the satisfiability of SCOPE, by virtue of the Relative Satisfiability Theorem. Fundamental structural and dynamical properties of Petri nets described in SCOPE are also presented, with two example uses of SCOPE given.<\/jats:p>","DOI":"10.3233\/978-1-60750-535-8-227","type":"book-chapter","created":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T10:27:24Z","timestamp":1740133644000},"source":"Crossref","is-referenced-by-count":0,"title":["SCOPE: A Situation Calculus Ontology of Petri Nets"],"prefix":"10.3233","author":[{"family":"Tan Xing","sequence":"additional","affiliation":[],"role":[{"role":"author","vocabulary":"crossref"}]}],"member":"7437","container-title":["Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Applications","Formal Ontology in Information Systems"],"original-title":[],"deposited":{"date-parts":[[2025,2,21]],"date-time":"2025-02-21T10:48:20Z","timestamp":1740134900000},"score":1,"resource":{"primary":{"URL":"https:\/\/www.medra.org\/servlet\/aliasResolver?alias=iospressISSNISBN&issn=0922-6389&volume=209&spage=227"}},"subtitle":[],"short-title":[],"issued":{"date-parts":[[2010]]},"references-count":0,"URL":"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.3233\/978-1-60750-535-8-227","relation":{},"ISSN":["0922-6389"],"issn-type":[{"value":"0922-6389","type":"print"}],"subject":[],"published":{"date-parts":[[2010]]}}}
