Apart from posing new challenges, virtualization enables new functionalities, and hints at a future Internet architecture, which contains a physical, but polymorphic, substrate on which various parallel infrastructures can be created on demand. This article explores such a new &amp;ldquo;architecture of virtual infrastructures&amp;rdquo;.
