In the computing world, this has led to a growing demand for people to be able to customise their &amp;lsquo;electronic spaces such personal computers and mobile phones&amp;rsquo;. In this work-in-progress paper, we argue that this reasoning can also be applied to AmI (Ambient Intelligence) Environment. However, existing computational models have significant shortcoming that act as a barrier to implementing the concept of end-user development in AmI environments. This paper presents a scenario that illustrates the need for a more functional and robust underlying computational model.
